Mr. Davis has worked as a Development Executive at Indigo Pictures; a Film Producer at 818 Films; and as a TV/ Film Producer at Foxxhole Productions. As a Screen Writer, Mr. Davis has sold several screenplays to major studios/distributors. Mr. Davis attended Louisiana State University and the University of Houston, receiving a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communications with minors in Math and Theater.
Mr. Price was the first person to win a school board seat with Dallas Independent School District (DISD) while still an employee and the youngest person to be elected to the Texas Association of School Boards. During his tenure on the DISD school board, he served as president in 2006, and held three terms as first vice president. He served two terms as secretary of the board, and also served as budget and finance chair over a district operational budget of $1.1 billion dollars and a $1.3 billion dollar bond program. He served as budget and finance chair, overseeing a $1.2 billion dollar operational budget, and $1.3 billion dollar bond program. Under Price’s leadership, the district built 35 new schools, more than 30 school additions, a central kitchen, and a $40 million dollar athletic complex. He is one of only two school board members in the history of Texas to pass two $1.3 billion school bond programs. Under his leadership, the district bond program reached a record 45 percent minority participation. Mr. Price was the former President of the National Caucus of Young School Board Members, President of National Association of African American School Board Members, Chair-Elect National Black Caucus of School Board Members, and President of the Texas Black Caucus of School Board Members. Ron J. Price served as a board member for the Black Contractors Association and the Southwest Black Chamber of Commerce. He has been mentioned in various national publications including Education Week, USA Today, Jet Magazine, Essence Magazine and more than 100 newspapers across the nation. He also has been featured on national television news programs, including NBC World News, Hannity and Colmes, Fox Good Morning, CNN and BBC News. Mr. Price attended Texas Southern University and Paul Quinn College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
